We had an idea for our peeps at UChurch.

We spoke to a couple of people at UChurch who in the past wanted to head out to Vancouver Island for holidays, but either booked too late in the season and sites were booked up, or wound up with not very satisfactory camping situations. Last July, we temporarily reserved four excellent campsites for this July (yes, you need to book that far ahead) overlooking the ocean in one of the nicest campsites on the island just south of Nanaimo. You have easy access to one of Canada’s best beaches, lakes and rivers to swim in, islands to explore and much more.  If any of you would like to rent one of the sites, we will simply turn them over to you and then you can deal directly with the campsite.

The reservations are for July 21-28, and cost $70/night for a fully serviced site.

If you need an RV, we have also reserved 4 newer RV’s that sleep up to 8 (but 5-6 is more comfortable). They are available for $187-205/night. That includes setup and removal, cleaning, and of course the trailer. Same deal, we put you in touch with the RV company directly. We have used them in the past, they have been good to deal with, and their prices are fair.

The picture shows one of the reserved sites, but the RV unit provided is a full-sized RV with one bedroom and 3-4 bunks.
